When a charge on your Capital One Venture or Venture X codes as travel, it makes that charge eligible to be covered with miles.
After the charges post to your account, you can use the “cover travel expenses” button on your rewards section of either the Capital One app or logging in on your desktop. You then select the travel expenses you want to get covered,and you will then get a statement credit for that amount in 1-2 days! Click here to learn how.
How to get charges to code at Aulani
When you charge items/services to your room, these will be hotel room charges, and will automatically become a travel expense! At Aulani you can charge up to $2000 to your room during your stay. Don’t forget to use the Capital One Venture card of your choice at check in!

Spa services– we charged our couples massage to our room. You can make reservations ahead of time here
Rentals– paddle boards and cabanas rented here
Sit down restaurants/ Character meals-food in Hawaii is expensive so use your miles to help with that cost instead. Make sure to make these reservations well in advance here.
How do you charge items to your room?
You can either use your room card key or a magic band during your stay. The charges will show on your Capital One account as “Disney Aulani Resort”. Super easy! Aloha!
