Log into your Capital one account either online or in your app. Scroll down to where it says “view rewards”.

You want to pick “cover travel purchases”. It’s about halfway down.

All the transactions you have had in the last 90 days that code as travel will automatically show up on the list. It will tell you the charge and also how many miles you need to cover that transaction. (see below for what codes as travel). You can cover these with miles for 90 days after it posts, so if you travel often, start with the oldest transaction on the list and work you way forward.

It’s not ideal, but you can only pick one transaction at a time. Click the circle next to the name and then click “continue” at the bottom. Repeat for all transactions you want covered with miles. You can also cover part of a transaction if you don’t have enough miles for the whole amount.
5.
Your credit will automatically post as a statement credit. It can take a couple of business days for it to post to your account. And you are done!

Food/Merchandise
*only if staying at a DISNEY OWNED hotel

Disneyland is not as simple, and you can’t use your magic band for charges to your room. Crossing fingers they add this feature!
Hotels
If you pay for a disney hotel (or any hotel!) this will code as travel.
Renting DVC from us
Our DVC transaction will code as travel on our site.
Ubers
If you need to use Uber or Lyft, these will code correctly.
Flights
Flights will code, and also if you use points for a flight, the taxes will code as travel and you can erase that charge.
Car Rental
Car rental and extras will code as travel.
