1. Go to the Orange County Comptroller office WEBSITE
All Disney Vacation Club resort deeds are recorded at the county, just like any real estate transaction. It’s easy to use and it’s FREE! 
2. Click “I Accept”.
3.Fill in the name under “either party”.
You can ask the owner what name their deed is listed under. Sometimes it can be listed under a business name, a person, or a trust, so ask!

4. Click “search”
5. All deeds are recorded
The search will show all transactions (when a Disney Vacation Club contract is purchased or sold). It will also show what resorts they own at, and the date it was recorded. How is this helpful?
