01 — Overview

Why We Love Beach Club Villas

With an easy walk to EPCOT and one of the best resort pools anywhere on Disney property, Beach Club is a showstopper.

Beach Club Villas is a great resort for any time of year, but especially magical during any of the EPCOT Festivals. The location alone is worth it — you can walk to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT in about 5 minutes, putting you right between the United Kingdom and France pavilions.

When you’re not at the parks, make sure to spend as much time as possible at the resort pool. Stormalong Bay is more like a mini water park than a pool — it has a sand bottom, a sandbar for kids to play in, a lazy river, and a huge pirate ship slide. It’s so popular that guests must show proof of resort stay and wear a wristband to enter.

03 — Room Types

Room View Categories

Beach Club Villas keeps it simple — one view category for all room types, with the focus entirely on the resort experience itself.

At Beach Club Villas, there are no separate view categories for Studios, One Bedrooms, or Two Bedroom villas — all rooms are Standard view. There are also no Three Bedroom Grand Villas at this resort. All rooms have been newly renovated and feature Murphy beds instead of traditional sofa beds, giving the rooms a cleaner, more spacious feel.

Murphy Bed Upgrade

The newly renovated rooms at Beach Club feature Murphy beds instead of pull-out sofas — a meaningful upgrade that gives you more floor space and a much more comfortable sleep for the extra guests in your room.

EPCOT Fireworks Tip

Even on a resort day, walk up to the bridge over the canal and you can see EPCOT’s fireworks at night — without a park ticket. It’s one of the best kept secrets at Beach Club.

04 — Room Sizes & What’s Included

Room Sizes & Floor Plans

Beach Club offers Deluxe Studios, One Bedrooms, and Two Bedrooms — all newly renovated with Murphy beds throughout.

One of the biggest advantages of renting DVC at Beach Club is the space and amenities. Studios include a kitchenette, and one-bedroom and larger villas come with full kitchens, washer/dryers, and separate living and dining areas. Note there are no Three Bedroom Grand Villas at this resort.

05 — Food Options

Restaurants, Bars & Quick Service

Beach Club has some of our favorite dining on all of Walt Disney World property — including one restaurant that’s worth the trip on its own.

There are two standout dining experiences at the Beach and Yacht Club resort: Cape May Café and Beaches n Cream. The broader resort complex also offers the Yachtsman Steakhouse, Martha’s Vineyard, Hurricane Hanna’s poolside bar, and the Marketplace convenience store.

Don’t miss the adorable character breakfast with Minnie and Mickey in their beach wear — a must-do for families. At dinner, Cape May serves a seafood buffet.

One of our all-time favorite reservations. Casual meals and the best ice cream on property. If you have a big group, get the “Kitchen Sink” to share — it famously comes with a whole can of whipped cream!

Quick Service & Other Options

The broader Beach and Yacht Club resort complex offers a great range of casual options, all within easy walking distance from the villas.

  • Yachtsman Steakhouse — One of the best steakhouses on all of Walt Disney World property. Reserve early.
  • Martha’s Vineyard — A cozy cocktail lounge with a relaxed, resort atmosphere.
  • Hurricane Hanna’s — The poolside bar and grill right next to Stormalong Bay. Great for a quick bite between swims.
  • Marketplace — Ice cream, cookies, and all the other necessities. Perfect for stocking your villa kitchen.

Dining Reservation Tip

As a DVC / deluxe resort guest, you can make all your dining reservations 60 days before you check in. Book Cape May Café and Beaches n Cream first — both fill up very fast, especially during EPCOT festival seasons.

06 — Activities & Transportation

Activity Highlights & Getting Around

Between Stormalong Bay, the beach, evening fireworks, and a 5-minute walk to EPCOT — Beach Club might be the most activity-rich resort on property.

Stormalong Bay Pool

The main pool at Beach Club is called Stormalong Bay and it is in a class of its own. It features a sand-bottom pool, a sand beach area for playing, a lazy river, and a massive pirate ship water slide. Plan to dedicate real time just for the pool during your stay — it’s that good. To enter, you must show proof of resort stay and wear a daily wristband.

Movie Under the Stars

At various times and nights, Disney shows a movie under the stars on the beach. Check resort activities in your My Disney Experience app for the current schedule of times and films.

Campfire & S’mores

Located on the beach area, you can roast marshmallows seven days a week. S’mores kits are available for an additional fee. Times vary — check the My Disney Experience app under “My Resort” for current times.

EPCOT Fireworks from the Bridge

Even on a resort-only day, walk up to the bridge over the canal and you can watch EPCOT’s fireworks show at night — no park ticket needed. One of the best hidden perks of staying at Beach Club.

Transportation — Walking & Skyliner

EPCOT is about a 5-minute walk via the International Gateway entrance, putting you right between the United Kingdom and France pavilions in World Showcase. Hollywood Studios is about a 25-minute walk or a quick ride on the Disney Skyliner gondola system. Both are among the best park access options at any Disney resort.

Transportation — Bus

Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are served by Disney buses. Find estimated arrival times under “My Resort” in the My Disney Experience app. Buses typically start running about an hour before the parks open.

Transportation Hint

Buses start arriving roughly an hour before the parks open each morning. For EPCOT, skip the bus entirely — the walk through the International Gateway is one of the most enjoyable park entrances at Walt Disney World.

You are given entry into each park 30 minutes before park opening. At Beach Club, this is especially valuable for EPCOT — you enter via the International Gateway and can ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before the crowds arrive.
Late Night Entry
Usually occurs 2 times a week. These late night hours are only for deluxe hotel guests and happen after the park closes. Rides tend to be walk-on.
No Tax or Resort Fees
These are included in renting DVC — a significant saving over Disney’s published cash rates, often $50–$100+ per night.
No Parking Fee
Disney doesn’t charge parking for hotel guests — both at the parks and at the hotel itself.
Free Transportation
You get free Disney transportation to and from all the parks each day of your stay — including the Skyliner gondola.
Dining at 60 Days
You can make all your dining reservations 60 days before you check in. Walk your reservations forward each morning for even better times.
7 AM Individual Lightning Lane
As a resort guest, you can book Individual Lightning Lane rides (like Cosmic Rewind, Rise of the Resistance, and Tron) starting at 7am — giving you priority access before day guests.
