Transferring Chase Points to Hyatt for Disney

If you start to follow any point travel blogs or content creators, you are going to a notice a theme through most of them. They LOVE Hyatt the hotel brand. Why is this? Well it is one of the easiest ways to get a lot of hotel stays for a minimum amount of points.

Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to Hyatt. you need one of the following cards to make that happen

Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserved, or the Chase Business Preferred. You only need one per household. If just starting out I would suggest the Chase sapphire preferred as your first card.

Why would you want to transfer?

Transferring to a hotel brands or airline brands loyalty program allows you to stretch your points. It also allows you to collect awards nights with that specific hotel. Hyatt brand hotels range from 8,000-45,000 points a night. Most credit card sign-up bonuses range from 60-100k points.

How to transfer?

  1. Create a free world of Hyatt account on their website here. Write down your World of Hyatt membership # or have the window open to reference later.

2. You will log into your account on the chase app or website. Scroll down until you see this image

3. Click on the image will take you to your ultimate rewards page. Click the three lines at the top (the hamburger) and scroll down until you see transfer to travel partners

4. Find world of Hyatt. From here you will enter your WOH membership number. Double/triple check that the numbers match.

5. Then you will add the amount in 1,000’s to the account to transfer.

6. Usually mine come instantly into my world of Hyatt account but could take up to 24 hours!

and thats it! One sign-up bonus from a card like the chase sapphire preferred can get you 4-6 nights at a Disneyland or WDW off property Hyatt hotel.

How to combine Hyatt points into one account

Favorite Disney Hyatts:

Disneyland

Our favorite at Disneyland is the Hyatt house at Anaheim. Within walking distance to the parks and has free breakfast! Here is an example of how transferring is important. See how this hyatt house is 18,000 points a night? Look how much in the chase travel portal it would be? 49,137 points?!

Walt Disney World

There are a couple of Hyatts near WDW as well! The Hyatt regency grand cypress is an amazing hotel! I would suggest it if you can. It is right by Disney springs.
