Dining Plan- Kids Eat Free including on DVC rentals
New update that makes DVC renting make even more sense! Disney announced that they will be offering 2026 incentive for people who stay on property by allowing them to buy a package where kids eat free. However, to typically get this deal you have to buy tickets and your hotel at Disney site full cost. In the past DVC has been exempt from offers like this.
However, we found out today that DVC owners (and renters who rent from them) can take advantage of the meal plan offer!
Here are the details:
- Kids 3-9 eat free with the dining plan when they are in a party with someone who are over the age of 10.
- There are two types of dining plan options:
- 55.53 per night (excluding taxes/fees) for 2 quick service meals and a snack or non-alcoholic drink
- 91.82 per night 1 quick service, 1 table-service, and a snack/non-alcoholic drink per day
- Both plans come with a refillable resort mug
How to book it on the DVC Site
- Go onto your dashboard and click the reservation
- Under Trip options it will have “purchase dining plan”
What are the rules/stipulations?
Usually with these type of deals, you can’t be an Annual Passholder (because you need to buy tickets for a package) and you have to pay full price. This isn’t the case. It is an add on only attached to your room. For my family (I have a 6 and 9 year old) it might make sense for us! Here is an example reservation from one of our DVC rentals in March 2026. This deal currently only applies to Disney World.
How to book it as a renter
When booking with us simply ask if you can add on a dining plan. We will work with the owner and have you purchase a disney gift card to cover the cost of the dining plan. This goes directly to the owner to make the booking.
