01 — Overview

Why We Love Beach Club Villas

With an easy walk to Epcot and close proximity to Hollywood Studios, Beach Club is a great resort for any time of year — but especially during the Epcot Festivals.

When staying at Beach Club, make sure you spend as much time as possible at the resort pool. It is the showstopper of Beach Club and is more like a mini water park than a resort pool. Storm Along Bay has a sand bottom, a sandbar for kids to play in, a lazy river, and a huge pirate ship slide. It’s so popular that you must show proof of staying at the resort to a cast member and wear a wristband to enter. This pool is great for small kids and adults alike.

Insider Tip

Because you enter Epcot at the International Gateway (between England and France), early entry gives you a great head start to ride Ratatouille before the crowds arrive.

03 — Room Types

Room Types — Standard Views

Beach Club Villas keeps it simple — there are no view categories here. All Studios, One Bedroom, and Two Bedroom Villas are Standard view.

There are no Three Bedroom Grand Villas at this resort. One standout feature: all rooms have been newly renovated and now feature Murphy beds instead of sofa beds — a much more comfortable sleeping option for guests using the pull-out bed.

Room Tip

The Murphy bed upgrade is a real win for families — much more comfortable than a standard sofa bed. Great for older kids who don’t want to share a king.

05 — Food Options

Restaurants, Bars & Quick Service

The Beach and Yacht Club complex has some of the best dining at Walt Disney World — from a beloved character breakfast to one of the top steakhouses on property.

Cape May Cafe at Beach Club
01 Cape May Cafe

Don’t miss this restaurant at breakfast for its adorable character breakfast with Minnie and Mickey in their beach wear. At dinner it serves a seafood buffet. A must-book for families.

Beaches n Cream at Beach Club
02 Beaches n Cream

One of our favorite reservations — casual meals and the best place to get ice cream on property. If you have a big group, get the famous “Kitchen Sink” to share. It comes with a whole can of whipped cream!

Quick Service & More

  • Yachtsman Steakhouse — One of the best steakhouses on Disney property; located at Yacht Club
  • Martha’s Vineyard — Cocktail lounge at Beach Club; great for a relaxing drink
  • Hurricane Hanna’s — Pool bar and grill; casual food and drinks right at Storm Along Bay
  • Marketplace — Ice cream, cookies, and other necessities; great for a quick snack
Dining Reservation Tip

As a DVC / deluxe resort guest you can make all dining reservations 60 days before check-in. Book Cape May Cafe character breakfast and Beaches n Cream first — both fill up fast.

06 — Activities & Transportation

Activity Highlights & Getting Around

Beach Club is one of the most activity-rich resorts on property — and Storm Along Bay alone is worth planning a full resort day around.

Storm Along Bay — The Pool

There are two pool areas: the main resort pool and a quieter leisure pool. The main pool, Storm Along Bay, features a pirate ship slide, a sand-bottom pool, a sand beach for playing, and a lazy river. Plan to devote real time just to the pool — it’s that good. A wristband is required; you must show proof of stay at the gate.

Movie Under the Stars

At various times and nights, Disney shows a movie under the stars at the beach area. Check your resort activities in the My Disney Experience app for times and shows.

Campfire & S’mores

Located on the beach area — you can roast marshmallows seven days a week. S’mores kits are available for an additional fee. Times vary, so check the My Disney Experience app under “My Resort.”

Transportation

Epcot & Hollywood Studios: Epcot is an easy 5-minute walk to the International Gateway entrance (right between the UK and France pavilions). Hollywood Studios can be reached by walking path (about 25 minutes) or the Skyliner.

Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom: Reached by Disney bus. Find estimated arrival times under “My Resort” in the My Disney Experience app.

Transportation Hint

Buses start arriving roughly one hour before the parks open each morning. The walk to Epcot’s International Gateway means you’ll often beat bus riders to the park gate — use it!

Questions about the Villas at Beach Club? We have answers.

Beach Club is right next to Epcot making it an easy walk to the International Gateway entrance. For Hollywood Studios, you can either walk to the Sky Liner and ride it over to Hollywood, or take the boat (which is located in between Beach Club and Yacht Club. Buses are available for both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and by the parking lot for the hotel.

Studios at Beach Club sleep 5 guests with one queen bed, queen Murphy bed and a twin cabinet trundle bed. There is one bathroom area.

Three words… Storm along bay! This resort has one of the best resort pools (if not the best). Not only does it have a pirate ship slide, it has a sand bottom to the pool, a sand area for kids to play in, a lazy river and hot tubs. It also is a great resort for those who love Epcot as its the closest to the park.

One of the hardest to find available at Walt Disney World. We rarely find this available at 7 months, and some months are booked at 11 months out. It’s also the smallest DVC resort in Walt Disney World, making it scarce for sure.

Beach Club is in the Epcot area right next to Epcot and the Sky Liner. It is across the lake from Boardwalk. The DVC building in Separate from the main lobby and is quiet area which is really nice.

Studios start at $330 per night on nights in September.
