Capital One Miles on your Disney Cruise

Almost everything is included in the price on a Disney Cruise- Meals, Soda, Entertainment, Activities.  But what about those charges that aren’t? Let’s use our Capital One miles to help pay for those extras!

How it works

You can use miles from either your Venture or Venture X card to erase travel charges. These charges must code as travel.

When you are on board your Disney ship, all charges during your cruise are charged to your room.  These charges then become a travel expense, and now you are able to use those miles from your Capital One venture or venture X and make that cruise even more magical!

What’s included in a Disney Cruise

When you check in on the app before boarding, choose your Capital One venture or venture X as your “payment method”.

What can you erase

Here is a sample list of what you can charge and then erase!

• Spa
• Place holders (that you purchase on board for a deposit on future sailings)
• Disney Port Adventure Excursions
• Nursery expense
• Bingo
• Merchandise from stores on board
• Merchandise and extras on Castaway Caye (and the new Lighthouse Point)
• Mandatory tips
• Elevated meals (like Palo)
• Drinks
• Popcorn and popcorn refills

How to Erase Charges on the App

• • Open capital one app and log in
  • Click “view rewards” box
  • Scroll down and click “Cover travel purchases”
  • You will see a list of all your travel purchases from the last 90 days and the amount of points needed to fully refund those as a statement credit.
  • Click on your charge. Should be listed as “Disney cruise line”.
  • Confirm
  • Should take 1-2 business days for the statement credit to show on your account.
