How to purchase Genie+ with Capital One Miles
So you want to use points to pay for your Disney Tickets with Genie+.
Here is how:
- Purchase your tickets online through either Undercovertourist.com or Getawaytoday.com. Look at each site because prices do vary slightly. Why these sites instead of Disney? Because if you purchase them from Disney directly, they are not coded as travel. They are coded on your credit card as “entertainment”. In order to use Capital one miles you must have purchases coded as “travel”. Make sure that you choose a ticket that includes Genie+ at the same time. Use your Capital One card (either Venture or Venture X)

- When the transaction posts, you can log onto your account (either on a desktop or mobile app) and click on “redeem” under your reward miles (it’s right under your balance).
- Click on “cover travel purchases”.
- find the transaction for your tickets. click to highlight your ticket transaction. Click continue. On the next screen click “Confirm”.
- Your credit should be applied to your account in 2-3 business days.
Remember you have up to 90 days to credit travel transactions. As a guideline, know that 100K miles is worth $1,000 in travel credit.
