Roundup Rodeo BBQ
On our last trip we finally got to eat at Roundup Rodeo BBQ. It’s the newer sit down restaurant in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios, Florida. Here are our thoughts on what we loved, and what we would love to change.
Who is Round up Rodeo perfect for?
Located right at the entrance to Toy Story Land (in between Woody’s sign and Slinky Dog Coaster), this restaurant is a great choice for anyone who loves the Toy Story franchise.

Do you need Reservations?
You do. You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance. That being said, we were surprised how many reservations were available for this restaurant even up to the week before.
We found plenty of open reservations at 60 days out, and were even able to adjust our time a couple of days before.

cost
This is a price fixe meal, with adults costing around $45 and Children $25. It is “all you care to enjoy” which means you can get extra servings of your favorites if you want. More on this later, but we couldn’t possibly think that most guests are using this often.
This price is similar to a character meal, but with no characters. Major loss, as there absolutely should be characters at this meal. Disney needs to consider adding Buzz, Woody, Bo Beep, and Jessie. It would have made the cost of this restaurant completely worth it.
rating for atmosphere
Themed as if you are a toy in Andy’s room, it’s bright and colorful, with whimsy and easter eggs of everyone’s childhood. Think Toy Story Mania queue but in a restaurant form. Don’t miss the bathrooms, as they are some of the cutest I’ve seen, with barn doors like the toy barn!

Andy’s coming!
At a few times during our meal we were warned that is it’s announced that “Andy’s coming!”, we needed to freeze in place and wait for the all clear. It was entertaining to see the cast members creatively freezing in various states. Then after the all clear is called, people cheer and resume their meal.
The food
The menu starts with cheese biscuits and sweet pepper jelly, and I could have just had a full basket of these and been happy.
Next they bring out a selection of three salads. We loved the Watermelon and mint salad as our favorite.
As a main course, a platter of BBQ meats including Smoked Rib, Beef Brisket, Pork Sausage and BBQ Chicken. Yep, all of them!
And if that isn’t enough, you also choose FOUR sides for your table. The choices for sides are:Potato salad, Loaded Potato Barrels, Cole Slaw, Fried Pickles, roasted vegetables, Mac & Cheese, Baked beans, Grilled street Corn on the cob.
We chose Loaded Potato Barrels, roasted vegetables, Mac & Cheese, and street corn. I would make the same choices again, but our least favorite was the corn. Our favorite side was the potato barrels. Yum!
Yep, it’s a LOT of food. And we aren’t finished. You also get a selection of small jars with desserts and a cupcake to try. We were so full, but tried each of the desserts and they were really great, just couldn’t eat another bite!
