DVC Studios that sleep 5 (Disney Vacation Club)

What to do if you have a family of 5 and want to rent a studio with Disney Vacation Club?  Most sleep 4, but there are a few DVC (Disney Vacation Club) studios that sleep 5!  Keep in mind that children under the age of 3 do not count toward occupancy.

New to Renting DVC- here are the basics!

Studios that Sleep 5
Boulder Ridge

One of the two DVC resorts at Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge sleeps five with one queen, a queen murphy bed and a twin pull down bed under the TV. (not shown in picture).  This room starts at 13 DVC points per night or $266.50.

Boardwalk

Located in the Epcot area, Boardwalk is the most cost effective of this list. Studios here start at 9 pts per night (So around $185).  It just finished a big renovation and has the new Queen, murphy bed, and twin fold down. We don’t have a photo of the newly renovated (and Disney hasn’t updated their website with a new photo of both Boardwalk and Beach Club and we haven’t stayed there since the reno).

Beach Club

Also in the Epcot area, this resort is has the smallest amount of Studios of any DVC resort at WDW, with around 100 total! That’s why it’s so hard to rent here. Beach Club has what we think is the best pool on property with it’s sand bottom pool, lazy river and pirate ship water slide.  Beach Club was renovated in 2023 and now has the new murphy beds along another queen and twin trundle cabinet. Studios start at $287 (14 points per night)

Polynesian

The biggest studio of the list, Polynesian is also the only one that has an option for connecting two studios. It has the same bed configuration as the other newly renovated studios, but has two bathroom areas to make getting a whole family ready for the park easier. You can stay in a Standard View Studio here for as low as $287 (14 points) during low season. Polynesian is a monorail resort making getting to and from Magic kingdom and Epcot a breeze.

Polynesian Studio
Grand Floridian

The second monorail resort on our list.  There are even two choices of studios that both sleep five at this resort!

  • Resort Studio- Two queens and a sofa that converts to a twin.  One bathroom and not much of a kitchenette. These are in the Big Pine building and closer to the main lobby and monorail.
  • Studio- One queen, one murphy and a twin trundle.  Two bathroom areas and a kitchenette.  Slighty larger than the resort studio, but in a separate building with a very short (covered) walk to  lobby and monorail.

Either way you pay the same- $328 in September for a weeknight

Grand Floridian Resort Studio
Riviera

The only DVC resort on the Skyliner on our list, making it really convenient for Hollywood Studios and Epcot or Disney Run Weekends.  It’s also the newest of the resorts.  It’s the same as Grand Floridian studio and Polynesian studio in that it would have two bathrooms, and one queen bed, murphy bed, and twin murphy bed.

Off Season Pricing for Riviera starts at $287.
